Description: The purpose of regional plan’s is to manage regional growth and change in the most sustainable way to protect and enhance quality of life in the region. This Dataset represents the core land use categories in the Plan. This dataset represents the region’s regional landuse categories, composed of three land use categories: 1) Regional Landscape and Rural Production Area 2) Urban Footprint 3) Rural Living Area. The dataset is produced from the Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB), sourced from Department of Natural Resources and Mines. This includes property parcels, road, railway and watercourse boundaries. Definitions: Regional Landscape and Rural Production Area: is an area that provides important values that help sustain the region socially, economically and environmentally. This area protects the values of this land from encroachment by urban and rural residential development, protects natural assets and regional landscapes, and ensures their sustainable use and management and supports development and economic growth of rural communities and industries.Urban Footprint: Identifies land within which the region’s urban development needs will be met in a way consistent with the goals, elements and strategies of ShapingSEQ.Rural Living Area: Identifies areas for consolidated rural residential development in suitable locations providing for housing and lifestyle choice, while limiting the impact of its inefficient use of land on other values, functions and opportunities in a region. The above descriptions are general only. For further information refer to the each individual regional plan, for more detailed definitions.

Name: Agricultural Land Classification (Class A and Class B)
Display Field: Id
Type: Feature Layer
Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon
Description: This dataset is an amalgamation of Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) Class A and Class B land from the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM) land resource surveys across Queensland. This dataset was compiled on a state wide scale for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) Qld Agricultural Land Audit (2013.) This dataset is used to show areas that require protection for sustainable agriculture under the State Planning Policy (SPP).
Name: Regulated Vegetation (as defined in the SPP)
Display Field: Id
Type: Feature Layer
Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon
Description: This map provides supporting information for assessments under the Vegetation Management Act.The map incorporates elements of the regulated vegetation management map and the remnant regional ecosystem mapping and remnant cover mapping version 8.0. Regional ecosystem information for both remnant and high value regrowth vegetation has been included in this map.2011 Remnant regional ecosystems mapping at a map scale of 1:100,000 and 1:50,000 in part, based on surveys of vegetation communities and related landform, soils and geology is based on the Landsat imagery for 2011 (Dataset for Queensland incomplete). Version 8.0 regional ecosystem descriptions, as originally described in Sattler & Williams (ed.) (1999) are available for download on the Queensland Government website. (Search on: Regional Ecosystem Description Database). The survey and mapping of regional ecosystems of Queensland provides information for regional groups, non-government organisations, government departments, local government and industry, for planning and management purposes.
Description: This feature class is specially created as an input to MSES. Users should continue to refer to the source datasets for management intent for all HEV.

Description: Seqwater sub catchments are modelled from SEQ Catchment's sub sub catchments (where available) and defined by waterways or Seqwater raw water offtakes. Only sub catchments up-stream of raw water offtakes have been mapped, therefore excluding coastal areas and the Warill Valley Catchment.Sub catchments within the Baroon Pocket Catchment have been defined by the Baroon Pocket Catchment Care Group, and modelled by Seqwater with the best quality available DEM. Additional sub catchments have been defined upstream of Cedar Pocket Dam and the Pie Creek raw water pump station.
Description: The full supply level has been calculated from various sources, including inherited data from Seqwater and Sunwater. In 2014 the data was updated in some areas to correct the geometry against aerial imagery showing 2013 full supply levels. Future enhancements will include the modelled new area of dam modifications.
